The Outrider out of Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA called in with with us today.

Hey good morning folks Jeff here on the Outrider just calling in a wrap up report for 2 1/2 day Charter.

We opted to finish pretty close to home. Heard there were some bluefin roaming around about 30 miles out and we wanted to get some night time fishing in that first night rather than tracking out to the West 100+ miles. So we did that and we actually had a really good evening. First night of our 2 1/2 we managed to scrape up both day limits on that 25 to 50 pound stuff.  Average was probably 35-40 pound range but it was definitely some fun night time fishing really close to home.

Morning came and we found a kelp and the Dorado wanted to bite. We manage to finished up there as well. We had a lot of time left and we're able to take some crew limits there as well.

We went up to the West end of Clemente to try and look for that bigger grade stuff and we found some nothing big,big but something right around like 80-90 pounds. We  ended up with seven or eight of those.

Overall beautiful weather fantastic, fishing out there. We got plenty of trips online I don't see the stuff dissipating anytime soon. November is right around the corner,  October schedule looks fairly full.

We do have an opening for a 1.5 Day departing on October 30th at 11AM.
